I suppose all good things have to come to an end sometime. This update won't open on my iPhone 4s.
  • Excellent App, but room for improvement

The app delivers on its goal of giving you a brief look into the world; however, the app could be even better if there was an option to expand upon the story you are currently reading. Also, it would be very nice if a notification popped up in the morning to facilitate your going into the app.

I’ve always liked the economist because of its substantive articles, and getting a quick round up of the world news every morning really makes me feel like I’m keeping up with the important events that are going on.

Hello, Your app is concise and very informative. It's a terrific morning coffee briefing. I would however like to see the bitcoin, as well as, other digital currency exchange rates included in the final page. Food for thought. Best, Cameron moulene

great content, great editing...but one of the worst iPhone apps i've ever come across: slow, a bandwidth hog and unreliable!

This app is perfect digest of daily news for those who love the Economist magazine. Articles are timely and unique. I really like sharing the daily quotes with friends and coworkers—for at least ten minutes every morning I look and feel smarter and more worldly! My hope is that the developers consider a version of this app that would work for e-ink android tablets. Thanks!
  • Not easy to cancel

There is no easy way to cancel a subscription so you better make sure this is what you want before starting your free trial. This of course defeats the purpose of a free trial but what do they care.
  • No option to cancel

Easy to subscribe, impossible to cancel Good luck. The news is fine. But this approach to business online is unprofessional. Let you product stand on its own merits. Make it as easy to unsubscribe as it is to subscribe. I’ll post a follow up on how long the process takes. Just searching online was an hour and there is no feature to do this digitally. E-mailed cancelation request and will call tomorrow
  • Beware - incredibly difficult to cancel subscription

The app itself is a pretty basic source of news, the issue is with their subscription model. There is no way to cancel your subscription within the app or even on their website! I called their customer service number and was told I have to call ITunes directly to cancel. For an app to not have a way to cancel its own subscription is a joke. There are much better sources of news out there that don’t make you jump through hoops to cancel their subscription.
