  • Links or Unresized Photos? Ads?

Although I love the NYT content, the presentation of the articles themselves have suddenly become ugly: either the included photos are too wide for my portrait-oriented device or the photos are merely represented by links to the photos. Not good. Of even more interest to your financial bottom line, the usual embedded ads and their photos in the actual articles are simply represented by the anonymous word, “Advertisement”. Please fix!!
  • Tiny text size

Suddenly the app has major formatting problems on iPad. Text is tiny, despite using larger size in the app’s settings. Fix ASAP.

An app that crashes just as much as its poor stories do! I can't believe this is on the App Store it's so bad.
  • Now Sluggish and Slow

This app used to work great. One tap and it’d open instantly and it was easy to pop back to the front page. Now when you try to open it it just hangs on the T forever. Getting back to the main page is complicated and video ads keep popping up and auto playing without your consent. The update from this week is even worse as the app just freezes on articles. It went from great to terrible. Rethinking my subscription to the paper.
  • Battery eating Ads & narcissistic trivia

“Entertainment” without substantiative in depth news from the world. A bubble protecting epilepsy-inducing Ads that one can barely avoid every other inch of reading space. Get eyeballs but not minds. Give me back some real writing and data without bias.
  • Impossible to create account!

Between this app and the crossword app, I am simply trying to create a paid monthly account to get the crosswords. Not so easy! Total mess! Google login? Email? Apple ID? Don’t care, just need something to work. Literally says “error creating account” with no details. Ugh!
  • Hangs my iPhone 5 every time.

For about a month the app hangs my iPhone while scrolling through the top stories. I have to force a restart.
  • Can’t even get it to install

Update got about 60% through install and locked up. Restarted iPhone, same thing. Deleted app, restarted iPhone, tried a fresh download, hung at 60% for two days. Why am I paying a subscription for something I can’t use? WaPo, here I come. iPhone 7, iOS 11.2, 94+ GB available, FWIW

Every time I run this app my phone heats up. Doesn’t happen on the webpage. What are you doing nyt that uses this much CPU?
  • Only Libtard articles

I know the app designer can’t fix stupid, I thought the NYT was a top notch newspaper, but with only a Libtard view they don’t have a clue.
