“I have been writing pop and pop/dance songs since the mid 1980’s. I was inspired into songwriting by the pop music of the 1970’s primarily songs written by Tony Romeo(who had a huge #1 hit in 1970 with “I Think I Love You” by The Partridge Family and other great songs by them and had written for other popular acts of the day including Johnny Maestro And The Brooklyn Bridge, Lou Christie and others). I thought the pop music of the 70’s was just incredible. I also love the pop music of the 1960’s as well. Some of my songs have an ABBA feel to them and I’ve had some songs released in Sweden. I have received about 30 songwriting awards from various worldwide songwriting contests including The John Lennon Songwriting Contest, VH-1 Song Of The Year Contest and others and besides the releases in Sweden I’ve have had some dance songs released in Germany and have also had an original Christmas song, “I Can’t Wait For Christmas Day”, released on a dance Christmas compilation CD. I’ve also licensed some pop/dance songs into fitness DVDs and a dance rhythm game.

I was fortunate to have renown producer Steve Skinner(http://steveskinner.com) bring my songs to life. Steve has worked with Celine Dion, Diana Ross, Bette Midler and many other well known artists as well as producing the music from the Broadway show “Rent”. It’s been a pleasure to work with Steve over the years.
